Vision & Mission

Our Vision

To raise a generation of Spirit-filled believers who are firmly grounded in the Scriptures and committed to teaching the unadulterated Word of God — training church leaders, ministry workers, missionaries, and church planters to maximise their divine calling and influence their generation through faith, integrity, and excellence.

Our Mission

To provide accessible, high-quality theological and ministerial education that equips students with knowledge, character, and spiritual capacity for effective Christian living and impactful ministry — integrating academic rigour with spiritual formation, guided by biblical principles such as Ephesians 6:13.

Our Story

A History of Compassion

New Stars International Bible College (NESIBIC) was founded in 1997. It was born out of a deep hunger for knowledge and a burning desire to empower others through sound biblical education. The vision of the institution is closely tied to the personal journey of its founder, Dr. Jack, whose life experience became the seed that birthed the college.

As a young minister serving as a youth pastor in his former church, Dr. Jack encountered a life-changing experience that ignited in him a strong desire for knowledge and self-development. With limited financial resources but an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, he enrolled in a Bible school in Ogun State — often trekking to Oshodi, with colleagues assisting him with rides.

Despite severe financial challenges — sometimes lacking money to pay his fees and even being sent out of examination halls — he remained steadfast. Through God's grace and relentless determination, he completed his studies, eventually advancing to the doctorate level.

These experiences developed in him a deep compassion for others who desired education but lacked the means. Thus, NESIBIC was established out of compassion: compassion for knowledge, compassion for ministers, and compassion for destiny fulfillment. From its inception, the college has not been driven primarily by profit but by purpose.

"NESIBIC was born out of compassion — compassion for knowledge, compassion for ministers, and compassion for destiny fulfillment."

Doctrine

Our Tenets of Faith

These ten foundational beliefs form the doctrinal bedrock of New Stars International Bible College.

01

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the final standard for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21
02

The Holy Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19
03

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully Man, sinless in life, who died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return in glory.

John 1:1,14; 1 Cor 15:3–4; Acts 1:11
04

The Fall of Man

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, fell through sin, and is in need of redemption through Jesus Christ alone.

Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12
05

Salvation by Grace

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works, and is received through repentance and belief in the Gospel.

Ephesians 2:8–9; Acts 3:19; John 3:16
06

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts, regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and equips believers for godly living and service.

John 14:26; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23
07

The Church

We believe in the universal Church, the Body of Christ, composed of all believers, called to worship God, fellowship in love, and fulfil Christ's mission on earth.

1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Ephesians 4:4–6
08

The Great Commission

We believe in the Great Commission, that all believers are called to preach the Gospel, make disciples, and teach God's Word to all nations.

Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15
09

The Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost — the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal separation from God.

John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15
10

The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ as King and Judge.

Titus 2:13; Revelation 22:12
